It is also very handy in the case of an extended power outage. 13,000mAh will fully charge bluetooth speakers, portable lights, smartphones, tablets, and even some small humidifiers!

Notes-

- 13,000mAh of storage will allow you to charge an Iphone 5-6 times, will provide 150% charge to an iPad 2 - and fully charge an iPad 4.

- If completely drained it will take take 18.5 hours to fully charge from a low output/standard USB or it will take 9.5 hours from a 5V 1A adapter.

- Have one 5V 1A output which is ideal for smartphones and a 5V 2A output for tablets

- Has a variety of tips - 30 pin Apple, micro USB, PSP (but not PSP Vista), and a mini USB

5This vs the Anker Astro

This external battery reminds me of the Anker Astro External Battery and they both have the same features.. Such as the safety feature of overcharging, dual USB, 1 with 2AMPs for Tablets, the other with 1Amp for other devices such as an iPhone, Android, and more. I forgot to mention about the "Click to charge" and Flashlight feature.. they both have it. I was afraid to purchase this device because not many people reviewed it. I have to say it's a great buy and it cost $15 less than the Anker Astro 13000mAh with the same features! Charged my iPod Touch 4th Gen + iPhone 4 with 3lights! [Started with 3 lights] This is an incredible device..

This device is quite heavy to put inside your pocket as well. If you don't mind bulk in your pocket or a bit of weight.. then you'll be just fine. If you got a laptop case or any type of bag to hold this, then you'll be fine! I will be bringing this to my college. Also, If I ever encounter a power outage like last year (Lost power for a whole week) this battery will keep me set for it!

Last thing before I wrap this up, I have an iPhone 4 with the Ballistic Hard Core Case with the optional silicone on it.. this device is actually slightly thicker than it if you wondering.

5Huge capacity. Great value.

At 13,000 mAh, the EcTech YN-019 is one of my biggest capacity power banks I have seen. At the time of this review, it is being sold for under thirty which is a tremendous value.

It is black with a cozy rubbery feeling which makes it unlikely to slip from your grip. Comes with two USB cables and replaceable tips. You get a microUSB, a mini USB, a 30-pin Apple connector and a PSP. There are two slots that can charge two devices at the same time. One is rated at 2.1A which works great for iPads, Kindle and tablets and another that is rated 1A which is perfect for iPhones and other smartphones. In the middle is an LED flashlight, not very bright but a nice bonus when you need it; you can activate it by pressing the main button twice.

It came in a nice sealed box which makes this power bank a great present.

5An Absolutely Great Product: RAVPower 15000mAh Portable Power Bank

The power banks in general are a great product to have handy. They work as a portable backup battery and will allow you to charge multiple various devices versus a spare battery that will only work with a single specific device. This would be the second RavPower power bank that I have, the other one is a 5600 mAh power bank.

Most power banks are not made to a high engough capacity to recharge a computer or tablet but the RAVPower 15000mAh Portable Power Bank is. Also this is the only power bank that I am aware of that allows you to recharge a computer as well as cell phones, tablets, etc. Most power banks are geared towards ONLY recharging cell phones or tablets NOT computers. In short the RAVPower 15000mAH power bank is more versitle then competiors as it has a 9V/12V DC output that would allow you to recharge your computer as well as two 2A recharge ports for cell phones and tablets. The RAVPower 15000mAH Power Bank is compact, efficient, long lasting and versatile.

I would suggest this power bank for long trips and would suggest their smaller 5600 mAh power bank towards more everyday use, as it is small enough to fit in your pocket, engough capacity to recharge your cell phone and has a builtin flash light.

When you recieve your powerbank the first thing you will notice is the product packaging. RavPower typically does a great job with product packaging and the packaging for the 15000mAH Power Bank is no different. It does takes a while to recharge when fully drained but that can be expected as it is 15000mAh.

Overall, this is a great product to have on hand and at it's current price of $59.99 it is a steal. A spare computer battery will cost you atleast this much if not more but will only be usefully for that device itself. The RAVPower 15000mAh power bank is verstile, simple to use and at a great price. This is a great product and I gave it a 5 Star rating! I have nothing but phrase for this item.

5Battery Pack For Power Users

This battery pack is made for the power user, and has a ton of charging power at 15,000mAh. It is not small in size, but neither is the battery size or charging options. In the hand, it is similar to the size of a computer hard drive. There are two USB ports to charge device, 2.1A and 1A. The 2A is perfect for charging larger devices like tables and the 1A is great for phones and smaller mobile accessories. There is also a DC output port that separates this battery pack from others. The DC put allows for charging of digital cameras, or other portable devise that have a DC input with 9V or 12V power needs.
