Don't let the tight fit throw you...

I bought this as a gift for my wife who has a MacBook Air and both an iPad and iPhone as a means of helping her keep her USB ports free and or not have to use multiple chargers. When she first tried it on her power adapter it wouldn't seat fully on the MacBook Air adapter plug and even when I tried it did not seem to fit completely on the charger so I just assumed it was not compatible with the Air and we dissapointedly repackaged it and I was in the process of returning it when I did one more check on the product description to see if it mentioned that it wasn't compatible with the Air. On the contrary the description said that it was compatible with ALL styles MacBook charger units. So I went back opened the package again and used much more pressure when sliding it onto the charger and it did finally seat completely and now seems to be working fine. I guess this is an example of needing brute force to make the thing work, normally when I try forcing something I end of breaking it ;)

Works well and looks good, but somewhat overpriced

1) Faster than charging using your Macbook's USB port.
2) Connects to either your Magsafe power adapter -OR- to an iOS wall charger (allowing you to charge two iOS devices at once off of one plug).
3) Looks good.
4) Keep it connected to your Magsafe when traveling for convenient packing.

CON: Overpriced - trading in on brand recognition and smart looking design to artificially inflate the price.

Don't leave home without it.

I'm still shocked Apple didn't think of this before twelvesouth. This just goes to show the innovation from this accessory maker. I own a couple products from them (MagicWand and SurfacePad). They are always high quality and therefore durable. The convenience of the PlugBug is second to none. It's nice not to occupy a USB port just to charge a device plus get the benefits of faster charging from the wall plug. I leave it on my power adapter at all times and it's saved me from those moments with my 4S and its lovely battery life in addition to my iPad. Keep in mind, it powers anything USB. It's as nice as those wall outlets that have USB ports built in, but those are few and far between so PlugBug fills that convenience.

Works well, simple and effective!

This charger has been working great since I bought it. It has a few lights which tell you how full the battery is charged. You have to remember to press the on button to turn it on when you want to charge your phone from it. The device has micro USB input for charging its battery and two USB outputs for charging other devices. The unit is small and light enough to carry it around easily while the phone is charging. Because it has micro USB and my phone has the same, I can simply recharge this battery pack using any of the existing charger cables I have for my phone! I was a little worried because there were no reviews for this product but after having taken the plunge and trying this one out I would recommend!

Great device for the spare power needed

I purchased this device as a nice little back up. I have been using it since everyday. I work in a field that requires me to be on the phone about 75% of the day. Using an iPhone 5 isn't the best choice when it comes to battery life and this device has saved me a few times. I have gone through a couple of charge cycles already and haven't seen any issues or any degradation of the charge life.

I have also used this to charge my iPad or both my phones at the same time (personal and work phone).
On a full charge even with my iPhone at roughly 10%, I can get my phone fully charged about 2 times before the device starts to warn me of a low battery. Keep in mind that I also use the phone whiles its charging which can take a dip in the battery draw.

Overall, the device is also very light weight and easy to carry around. It fits in my pocket and sometimes I even forget its there. If you are the type of person that is on the road or travel a lot like I am, this device will do wonders without breaking the bank.

So far I have been happy with my purchase and will continue to use and review this item as time goes on.

Great charger at a great price

Great extended battery. Have used it for a whole 8 hour shift at work to keep my Lumia 920 alive while streaming music over 4G and only depleted it by half. Have gotten full charges on two iphones and my Lumia with power leftover. The only portable that has defeated it in a day was my ipad 2 but a full charge on the volt brought the ipad from 12% up to 80%. No difference in charge speed between wall charger and volt. Also was suprised to find that it wasn't bulky in my pocket. Slightly heavier than an iphone.

If you are tired of your portable devices dying on you, this product is what you are looking for. If your portable device is charged by using a USB cable, then with Power pack will. It's extremely portable, and can save your phones battery life in many occasions. Once fully charged it can charge your phone about 3 times! So if you constantly use your phone, and would like to charge them on the go, buy this product, cause I highly recommend it!
