5Highest quality battery pack on the market

Contents inside the thick quality box:
-Jackery Giant+ 12000mAh
-Micro USB cable
-User guide

Battery features:
-2 USB ports (one labeled "5V/1A" meaning 5 volts/2 amps and the other labeled "5V/2.1A" meaning 5 volts/ 2.1 amps [2.1 amps is great for charging tablets]). The battery can output a max of 3.1 amps. I have charged an iPad and an iPhone simultaneously.
-Micro USB port (labeled "IN") (this port is used for charging that actual battery pack and should use a 5 volt/1.5 amp and up wall charger for max speed to charge the battery pack in around 10 hours).
-Dual LED flashlight (can illuminate for about 700 hours off a full charge without using the battery to charge anything) (the LED is bright enough to look for something when no light is around).

Side note*:
-The power button is on the curved side next to the LED flashlight.

Telling how much power is left on the battery:
The battery has a 3 blue bar battery level indication system. There are 6 LED's in total; each blue bar having 2 LED's.
Meaning of each bar:
-When 3 of the bars are illuminated, it means that the battery has 66%-100% battery left.
-When 2 of the bars are illuminated, it means that the battery is at 33%-66% battery level.
-When 1 of the bars is illuminated, it means 10%-33% of the battery is left for use.
-When 1 of the bars is blinking, it means the battery is almost dead and is on or below 10%.

My description of the battery pack:
The battery is amazing to use and feel. It has a high quality aluminum shell. The feel of the battery when first picking up after sitting is cold because of the aluminum. I like that feeling. It makes it feel like the battery pack really is quality. There are no imperfection that I can see which shows the quality and care that went into making this battery pack. The aluminum is not glossy but does shine when put under sunlight. The aluminum is not bushed either but is great anyway. The finish has a sparkle look to it when under sunlight. The metal is a very dark gray to black. The battery pack looks more gray than black in sunlight. The battery has rounded edges. The side where the USB ports and other features are is glossy and I can faintly see a clear reflection of myself like in a mirror but is much darker because of the dark gray/black finish to the battery. The battery is smooth all around and is not rough. When I scratch the battery it makes a little scratch that can be easily rubbed away. This does not happen on the sides, where the USB ports are located and the opposite side, because it is coated in a clear glossy material. I like to keep my electronics in mint condition so I thought it was worth mentioning. I am really digging the quality of the battery pack.

My thoughts and opinions:
I think the battery is one of the highest quality battery packs on the market. I like that I can charge my iPhone and iPad at the same time while charging them in style. I think the price is right and should definitely be in your thoughts when deciding on which battery pack to buy.

Overall, this is an outstanding product from the design to features that make this product perfect.

I highly recommend this product to anyone who needs power and wants a quality product that performs well.

4Camping requirement

Perfect for going any place without a power source handy, like camping or boating.
Will charge most anything you have, most important phones.
Only problem I have, power cord does not have adaptor for a wall outlet, only USB. Overnight charging required for a full battery life.

4Met or Exceeded Expectations

I ordered the Jackery Giant with a little hesitation, Not specific to Jackery but to battery cell backup/recharge bricks in general. I received my purchase as expected (Prime 2nd day) and proceeded to charge the pack as the instructions directed. The size of the pack is actually smaller than I had expected. The USB charging cord is not very long (3" - 3.5") which presented a minor problem when I went to charge the pack with one of my tower computers. The issue was quickly overcome when I pulled out a longer cable I have in my collection.

The unit charged to 100% quicker than I had expected. Given the size of this battery pack, it had no problem at all in quickly charging both a IPhone 5 and a =IPad at the same time. The full charge of both units seemed quick.

The weight of the battery pack along with the construction of the case are well done. I expected the weight to be heavier and I like the case and LED status lights.

This was a good purchase. It will be nice to use on my next cross country flight.
