This battery pack is very powerful and in my test results it performed outstandingly well in supplying a charging current to an iPad 2. It also comes with a charging cable and an Apple 30 pin connector. You may need to use your original charging cables for your devices so take them with you if you need them. This battery pack is the perfect size for a purse, pocket, and brief case or to put into your travel bag.
It is a good power resource to keep your USB recharged devices operating on those long work or school days or while you are traveling. Many people like me are power users of their smart phones and tablets. If you are constantly using them then you know that they will run out of power sometime during the day or evening. If you are not near an AC wall outlet with your charger or in your car with a charger what can you do? It is especially important to have some way to recharge if you are traveling in a plane, in the middle of a school classroom or on a bus or train. In addition many of the newer tablets and smart phones are real power hungry devices and it takes a lot to recharge them.
Here is a small but yet powerful battery pack with one USB port. The USB output is rated at 5 VDC. The USB port is rated at 1 Amp. It uses Lithium battery technology and carries an 5200 mAh capacity. This is a small sized battery pack and it weighs in weighs in at 4 1/4 ounces. It will fit easily into a brief case, back pack or a computer bag or a purse. I have included a video of the batteries features and I hope it is helpful to you.
What's in the box?
* The OPSO 5200 mAh battery pack
* The battery pack comes with an instruction manual
* No AC wall charger comes with the battery pack but it can be charged with any USB wall charger and I recommend one with 5VDC and 1 to 2.1 Amps output current. Use the Micro USB to USB charging cable for charging the battery. You can use a computer USB 2.0 port to charge the battery pack but it will take twice as long than if you use a 1 Amp AC wall charger. The wall charger rated at 1 Amp will take 5 to 6 hours minimum to charge at 1 Amp. The manual recommends using a 1 Amp charger but I use a 2.1 amp charger on all of the batteries I own.
* A charging cable for the battery pack or your smart phones that is 13 inches long. The cable is a Micro USB on one end and a standard USB on the other end.
* One 30 pin iPhone connector that plugs onto the charging cable

Test charging an iPad 2 to measure the output capacity:
Start iPad 2 at 19% and the OPSO 5200 mAh battery at 4 LEDs and fully charged.
* 30 min 28% OPSO LEDs lit
* 60 min 37% OPS LEDs lit
* 90 min 46% OPS LEDs lit
* 120 min 55% OPS LEDs lit
* 150 min 65% OP LEDs lit
* 180 min 74% O LEDs lit
* 210 min 82% and the OPSO battery was dead
Test results Summary:
Charging an iPad 2 at 63% of 6944 mAh = 4374.72 mAh.
* 4374.72 mAh / 5200 mAh = 84.1% which is an excellent result for this type of battery pack. This put this battery's performance in the top 5% of all of the batteries I have tested.
Here are some of the mAh charging requirements for common devices:
* iPhone 4 battery 1,420 mAh battery capacity
* iPhone 4S battery 1,432 mAh battery capacity
* iPad 2 battery 6,944 mAh battery capacity
* iPad 3 battery 11,560 mAh battery capacity
* Kindle Fire battery 4400 mAh capacity
* Kindle Keyboard battery 1750 mAh capacity
* iPhone 5 is 3.8 VDC at 5.45 Wh = 1434 mAh battery
* iPad 4 battery is 11,486 mAh 3.7 VDC at 42.5 Wh
* iPad Mini battery is 4490 mAh at 3.72 VDC 16.7 Wh
As you can see the OPSO 5200 mAh will not fully charge a totally dead iPad 2, 3 or 4. Nor will it charge and iPad Mini or a Kindle Fire because it only contains 5200 mAh of capacity. You have to consider the losses in the charging circuits of both the battery pack and the device you are charging. Energy is lost during the voltage conversion, used by the electronics of the battery pack and your device and by the generation of heat. In addition your smart device is not really off as it is connected to the WIFI, receiving text messages, receiving emails, receiving pop up notifications and even possibly connected to the cell phone network

* iPhone 4 or 5 approximately 3.08 full charges out of a fully charged OPSO 5200 mAh Portable Power Bank
* iPad 2 approximately 63% of a full charge
* iPad 3 or 4 approximately 37.8% of a full charge
* iPad Mini approximately 97.4% of a full charge
* Kindle Fire approximately 99.4% of a full charge
* A normal estimated usable storage is 70% of capacity or .70 * 5200 mAh = 3640 mAh charging capacity available for your electronic devices.
* In my testing I was able to use approximately 4374.72 mAh of capacity or roughly 84.1% of the 5200 mAh capacity. This is an outstanding result and this is an outstanding performance.

After lots of research, I decided to purchase this OPSO iPowerJuice Classcial Series 5200. I think the key selling points are: 1. It's a Apple officially aothorized brand. 2. Really good design. 3.Pocket-size with high battery capacity. 4. Cheaper than other so-called brands.
When I first got the package, I knew I bought the right product! The package looks really great and high-class!The OPSO light stays on when I charge my iphone, this design is much better than only several LED indicates. I can understand that there is only one USB cable for iphone inside the package rather than lots of connectors like other battery packs include, after all it's a apple authorized brand. An USB cable for iphone is enough for charging my iphone, and that seems more professional!
I'm also very satisfied with its performance.A pocket-size battery pack like this can provide lots of energy for my iphone,that's really impressive!Since it's a small size battery pack, I can take it in my bag, charging my iphone whenever I want, I don't need to find power socket any more when I'm outside!
