Fast, fast and fast.
By Bill Nicholas
This thing is fast, the fastest charger I have used yet. I learned a little about USB charger power ratings. This one puts out 2.1A (amps) per channel. By comparison, the average usb chargers I found in my collection put out 1A. Older chargers I found laying around put out less than 1A, sometimes expressed as mA, so 500mA would be half of 1A. I threw out one old Samsung charger I had been using when I found it to be .55A (there is a mixture of ways to express power output). Last year I bought a "fast charger" for my Kindle HD and that one has 1.8A.
One thing that is important to note: BOTH ports have 2.1A output. If you read or look closely at some other chargers advertising 2.1A, you may find they split the output between 2 ports, i.e., the 2.1A is the TOTAL between 2 ports. So, it looks cheaper but doesn't deliver as much
This thing is bigger than most usb chargers. I don't know why. Maybe it needs to be that big to out that much power?
The ability to swing to a different position I suppose is useful, but I don't see it as the main selling point: power is. However, it is useful in situations where all your outlets are full and one position or the other makes it fit in.
I'm not sure if I got the regular packaging. Nothing was inside the box. I doubt this is the way it ships. Maybe I got a returned item for use in the Vine program? Still, it's not hard to figure out how to use.
I find the box funny. It illustrates the device's ability to swing while it is plugged in to the top outlet of a 2 outlet electrical fixture. Why would someone plug it in the top, blocking the bottom outlet? On the box, they highlight "20 watt. 10 watts per port," but you hardly ever see usb chargers advertising, or even listing, watts. It would have been more useful to list 2.1A per port. The box also highlights that it works with Samsung phones, listing 6 of them on the top, then adding it works with other smartphones and tablets, too, with another list below it. There is also this little oddity written in small print on the bottom: "No assembly required. Device not included." What does that mean?
Bottom line is FAST!

Great little travel charger
By James Lin
The best part about this Belkin wall charger is that each USB port provides up to 2.1A, so you can simultaneously charge two power-hungry devices like the iPad or the Samsung Galaxy S4 without having to wait longer. Your devices with smaller batteries, such as the iPhone, will work great with this adapter as well. The 2.1A rating just refers to the maximum output, so your devices will only draw as much as they need to charge up.
The design of this adapter is perfect for travel too. The prongs fold down for easy storage, and the entire unit swivels nearly 90 degrees counter-clockwise, allowing the adapter to fit into tight spaces. It's fairly big compared to the tiny Apple charging cubes, but only slightly bigger than the bulkier adapter that came with my iPad. Its narrow design and the swivel feature means that it should be able to fit into most power strips without blocking another outlet.
There are a lot of similar 2-port chargers available on Amazon that also advertise 2.1A output, but most of the cheaper options will only provide 2.1A combined across two ports. This means that it will take longer to charge two devices at the same time. Although the Belkin is one of the pricier options, it's a great value because the better specs and the neat swiveling feature.

great function
By Fuji
I really like that this charger has two USB ports. The swivel feature makes it very useful to use the second plugin at the outlet. It is longer and skinnier that it looks in the picture
