toshiba excite multidock

I had considerable trouble finding one of these and talking to Toshiba in the USA was no help at all. My father saw this one on Amazon.com and told me abut it I went online and ordered it immediately! It was one of the best things I did for my tablet since it charges it faster and allows me to stream video to my TV. Glad I bought it but next time I won't buy a tablet that does not have the HDMI port built in. I asked Toshiba before I bought the excite 7.7 if the dock was going to have the HDMI port the answer was yes. So I bought the tab, not knowing what a huge pain it was going to be to get the dock. Just a note my dock has apparently come from a Canadian distributor thanks! Luv the dock!!!! I only gave four stars because of Toshiba USA's inability to get me one this was shameful product support. The dock itself works to perfection! The person I talked to tried very hard and put up with all my questions in trying to figure out a way to get one. But in the end they had them in Canada and Toshiba USA could not even get one transferred to the US for me. Sad. But the dock is awesome for streaming video and charging it has become the default location to find my tablet unless someone else is using it at the time. Its almost always charged and ready to go now.

The dock does what it's supposed to do. Too bad it's so expensive. Output is limited to 720p. 2 USB i/o is not enough. This is easily solved with a USB hub. I can't believe Toshiba Didn't include this with the tablet. No wonder that tablet failed.

Love it, it's just that simple. It was expensive, but very worth the convience of charging my Excite. I also like the flash drive and HDMI ports.
